The Problem

Summary: Sierra Leone’s historical artifacts and stories are physically scattered or deteriorating. There is no central digital repository where a tourist or a student can easily view the country’s cultural assets. The Problem: How can we expect youth to value their history if they cannot easily access it? Why must our history be told by foreign museums instead of our own digital archives?

Proposed Solution

Build a Virtual Museum MVP. A web-based platform that features a "Curated Tour" of at least five key Sierra Leonean artifacts or sites (e.g., Bunce Island, The Cotton Tree’s history). Hackathon Deliverable: A landing page displaying high-quality images/3D renders (if possible) with historical context in text and audio (Krio/English).
